Warranty
All Mar de Luna jewelry is covered by a warranty against material and manufacturing defects for 24 months (2 years) from the date of delivery. Our pieces are crafted from high-quality, durable materials, but they are not indestructible and require proper care.

Impacts such as hitting or lifting solid and heavy objects can damage your jewelry and may cause gemstones—including diamonds, emeralds, and sapphires—to crack, loosen, or break.

Manufacturing defects do not include normal wear and tear, scratches, misuse, or damage caused by accidents or improper handling. Discoloration due to contact with harsh chemicals, deformities, lost center stones, or damage caused by external impacts (e.g., hits, dents, pressure) are not covered by the warranty.

Likewise, jewelry must not be altered, handled, or repaired by any service provider other than Mar de Luna, as this voids the warranty.

The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

All warranty claims are subject to verification by the Mar de Luna team. The item must be evaluated and classified as defective by our production department. If a warranty claim is approved, the appropriate solution (exchange, repair, or other) will be determined on a case-by-case basis and discussed with the original purchaser.

Exchanges & Returns
Mar de Luna accepts exchanges within 30 days of delivery. All purchase decisions are final, and we do not offer refunds.

Jewelry pieces must be in perfect, unworn condition, free from signs of use, damage, or alterations. All items must be returned with their original packaging and documentation.

For engagement rings, size adjustments or modifications will be evaluated individually and may incur an additional cost.

Please note that all shipping costs related to exchanges or warranty evaluations are the responsibility of the customer.

Inspired by nature

Mar de Luna is a sustainable fine jewelry house guided by the principles of people, planet, and beauty. Rooted in Colombia, we celebrate the timeless allure of our emeralds — true treasures of the earth — while empowering local communities and crafting pieces that transcend time and trend.

"TODO COLOMBIANO
DEBERIA TENER UNA
ESMERALDITA".

Where do our emeralds come from,
and why are they so special?

Meet Dinael, our chief miner. Dinael is one of the 89 registered barequeros in Colombia. He lives and works in a small village of roughly 500 inhabitants, surrounded by millenary mountains, sacred lakes, and ancient Indigenous territories. To him, finding an emerald — or rather, the emerald finding you — is a sacred act that requires respect, faith, and intuition. He honors the mountain, and in return, the mountain provides.

Barequeros are artisanal miners authorized by the Colombian government to extract emeralds in traditional, small-scale ways that preserve the environment and cultural heritage of the region. At Mar de Luna, we partner not only with certified mines but go a step further — working with those who ensure their miners, like Dinael, have access to safe working conditions, health insurance, and a stable income even during periods with no emerald production, all while complying fully with Colombia’s environmental regulations.

This doesn’t mean our pieces come at a premium; it means they are crafted with integrity — unique, limited in scale, and deeply rooted in the well-being of the communities behind them. The miners. The true heroes of our story.
